Every person faces death. Moreover, Baby Boomers born between 1946 and 1964 now face aging parents, as well as their own mortality.

The Goodbye Book opens the discussion on aging, taking control of life and planning for the future, while creatively designing the final celebration.

Called the "sandwich generation," Boomers find themselves caring for aging parents, as well as their own young children. The Goodbye Book shows how to manage aging and end of life issues while leaving a special legacy for children as the ultimate gift. With both humor and realistic thinking, The Goodbye Book encourages the reader to take control of his/her days, making life pleasurable and memorable. True stories show how others have celebrated their final days with style and dignity, including good ideas and big mistakes. Written in workbook (spiral) format, The Goodbye Book is innovative and practical: it includes helpful, easy-to-follow forms for planning the funeral, for carrying out one's own wishes for memorial services or other celebrations of life, and for expressing one's hopes for how family and friends may cope during this difficult period.

The Goodbye Book is a must-have to help folks frankly and creatively discuss aging and end of life issues while planning their remaining years. The book brings peace of mind ? guiding the reader in making informed decisions, controlling one's final farewell, and leaving a well-thought-out legacy for generations to come.
